Your Instructor
Annelle Brown Tanner is a Veriditas-trained advanced facilitator, wife, mother of three, and grandmother of four. She has been offering labyrinth experiences with children for the past five years in Louisiana and Texas.
She says that “a child called her to the labyrinth” and since her graduation from the Kanuga Summer School in 2017, she has developed many specialized programs for children. Other Veriditas credentials include advanced facilitator training in 2019 and Chartres pilgrimage in 2018. She also serves as Louisiana’s Regional Representative to The Labyrinth Society.
She holds an EdD in Educational Technology from Northwestern State University of Louisiana as well as nursing degrees. Dr. Tanner has worked with children in health care, schools, church, and her community as a maternal and child public health nurse and instructor of pediatric nursing for over 50 years. She is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Louisiana, and together with her husband Martin, reads books to children with cystic fibrosis on Facebook bi-weekly and provides support for grandparents of children with CF as part of the “Grampions” program.
Ms. Tanner and her husband live in Alexandria, Louisiana.
