Go on a self-guided healing journey incorporating science-based tools from the fields of neuroscience and post-traumatic growth as well as the proven grounding and calming qualities of labyrinths. Following a post-traumatic growth map outlined by a 5-Circuit Labyrinth, Aubri leads you through eight 1-hour sessions with a focus the following themes:
Breathe: As you begin the journey, take stock of where you are and learn the steps of post-traumatic growth so you can identify what you have and what you need. In this session I’ll introduce you to the labyrinth as a powerful tool we’ll be using throughout our journey.
Ground: Next you’ll learn techniques for creating safe space and returning to the here and now when you feel overwhelmed or triggered. We’ll practice using the ‘finger-walking’ the labyrinth as one method for doing this.
Reflect: Session Three is about recognizing the way your thinking might be getting in the way of healing. You’ll learn to recognize, challenge and reframe unhelpful thoughts. You’ll learn how to rewire your brain away from its inherent negativity bias. We’ll use the labyrinth as a tool for breaking up thoughts.
Connect: Healing from trauma cannot happen in isolation. This module is all about cultivating connection. We’ll talk about connecting with others who feel safe, with each other, with yourself and with higher wisdom. We’ll learn how the labyrinth can support us in connecting to higher wisdom and our higher selves.
Feel: In Session Six we’ll talk about ways to release trauma from the body and how to find safe spaces to process grief and all the challenging emotions that follow trauma. We’ll use the labyrinth as one safe container for those feelings.
Imagine: This turn on the path will teach you how to harvest hope and imagine a new way of being and a new life for yourself. We’ll find inspiration and use the labyrinth as a metaphor for your journey.
Rewrite: After trauma, we can easily feel like victims in our own lives. This module offers a way to rewrite your story so you can move from victim to creator. You’ll learn to see yourself as the hero of your Hero’s Journey Story. This is a powerful way of making meaning of what happened to you. At this point, you’ll be able to use the labyrinth in any way that feels most helpful to you.
Soar: This final session gives you the opportunity to make a plan for how you will take all you’ve learned and put it into action. We’ll use the labyrinth as a way of leaving behind what you’re ready to let go of and setting intentions for what you’re ready to claim.

Aubri Tallent is an ICF Certified Mental Health and Trauma-Informed Coach and Veriditas Certified Advanced Labyrinth Facilitator who has worked in the realms of mental health and post-traumatic growth coaching for the past five years. A former teacher at NYU, she switched to coaching in order to make a more profound impact on people's lives. She's helped hundreds of people find more ease, peace, and joy on the journey. She has seen the power of group connection both in her own life and in her work. She has lived all over the world but now resides in California with two kids, two cats, and a pretty awesome partner. She loves time at the beach, reading spiritual and self-help books, and walking labyrinths.
