The Jail Labyrinth Project with Lorraine Villemarie and Cathy Rigali
Labyrinth Ministry Creates First In-Ground Labyrinth in US Jail
Discover how this phenomenal event happened! Inmates involved in a labyrinth program challenged two certified Veriditas facilitators to do the impossible. After five years of a continuous 12-week program, inmates learned the transformative power of the labyrinth. They asked that one be build on the jail grounds. With the blessing of the sheriff and an anonymous financial donor, the impossible happened. After three months of hard labor, they created a beautiful 80' labyrinth in the jail yard next to the razor fences. Their work received a standing ovation from the boarder community who attended the labyrinth dedication ceremony.
